Position Summary:

Primary responsibility is to manage account servicing and ensure retention and growth of GRC business – an essential function within the organization. This includes serving as the Client Relationship Leader and Strategic Account Manager for specific accounts, responding to Requests for Proposals, and providing thought leadership.

Location:  The ideal candidate MUST be located in Germany, Austria, or the Benelux region

Responsibilities:

- Manages client relationships

- Renew assigned accounts as required per internal guidelines (i.e. pricing approval process,
contract reviews)

- Evaluate and access potential problems on an overall account basis

- Develop scope of work and fee proposals

- Responsible for retention of assigned account portfolio (target is 98%)

- Responsible for revenue growth of assigned portfolio (target is 7%)

- Responsible for new/new and new/additional sales (target is $1 million)

- In combination with Business Development teams foster a One TÜV SÜD commitment and support other business lines

- Attending internal & external marketing functions as requested (i.e. RIMS)

- Primary responsibly is the growth and retention of GRC business.  This includes serving as Client relationship Leader for specific accounts, responding to RFPs, and thought leadership.

- Ensure no lost business for cause

- Work closely with entire Business Development team to identify and support growth opportunities.

- Responsible for retention/growth/sales on book in accordance w GRC performance standards

- Manage a book of business of mainly large International Companies with a broad  industry focus

- Be the Client Relationship Leader in specific accounts by:

- Manage and exercise discretion over day-to-day core activities related to client account servicing and client relationship.

- Developing servicing strategies that will bind the clients even more to GRC.

- Directing and overseeing the execution and delivery of work performed by teams of Account and Field Consultants worldwide across various disciplines.

- Maintaining oversight for Account- and Field-level risk engineering consulting services and related technical services.

- Participate and represent the organization in key trade shows as required and appropriate.

- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred and/or equivalent practical experience.

- 5+ years of experience in property loss prevention consulting is preferred.

- 10+ years of experience in sales and account management.

- Experience with Client Management systems (i.e. CRM)

- Experience with new/new and new/additional sales

- Prior property risk engineering experience and technical acumen are critical for this role, especially with specialized critical industry knowledge in Power Generation and Renewable Energy.
