Senior Consultant

TÜV SÜD GRC has an immediate opening for a Senior Consultant – Property Loss Control. This is a remote/ work from home position.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate the property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on NFPA Standards and other international standards as appropriate.
- Develop recommendations based on standards.
- Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems.
- Report and evaluate building construction, occupancy, special and natural hazards.
- Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss
- Provides training and peer review for other consultants; serve as a technical resource to other consultants
- Services provided to clients include training, manual and program development, code or regulatory interpretation.
- May prepare and present proposals, develop service instructions, solicit client feedback and prepare stewardship reports.
- Work assigned is typical of a higher technical need as well as being in direct contact with clients’ upper management including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers.
- Provide project management services to include special visits, plan reviews, and oral/written presentations to clients.
- Domestic travel is required and international travel might be required with sufficient, advance notice.
Qualification
- 5+ years of related, consulting experience.
- Bachelors Degree/ Honours degree or equivalent tertiary qualification preferably in engineering or an aligned field of study.
- Preferably hold or be actively working toward any of the following certifications – Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineering (CE) status, NFPA or CFPA Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in servicing major accounts.
- Recognized technical expertise.
