Program Manager
General Overview
This position will be at the TUV Auburn Hills, MI Test Lab. The main focus of the program manager role will be in Vibration, Environmental, Corrosion / Erosion Testing, High Voltage Power Cycling, & High Voltage RESS Safety testing utilizing specialized test systems for various automotive components such as electronic modules, engine & transmission parts, electric vehicle batteries, and radiators & heater cores. This role will require daily interaction between TUV customers and the test laboratory
Core Responsibilities
- Primary Customer Liaison for Test Programs:
- Confirm the Scope of Projects
- Provide Test Schedules and Timing
- Provide Test Updates
- Provide technical support to Account Managers
- Work with Fellow Program Managers and Functional Area Managers to ensure scheduling and readiness targets are being met
- Hold Project Kick-off Meetings with Team
- Communicate and Support Test Issues
- Ensure Project Safety, Quality, Timing and Budgets Maintained
- Prepare or Review Technical Reports
General Lab Environment
TUV Auburn Hills is an Independent Test Lab that conducts durability testing at the component level on a wide range of products. TUV services the Automotive, Off-Highway, Locomotive, Aerospace and Medical Industries. Many of the tests that are conducted at TUV have a combination of an elevated temperature, pressure and/or flow component to the procedure. DUT’s are often powered during testing and require various measurements (physical or electrical) taken throughout the course of a test procedure.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical discipline
Experience
- 5 years Program management preferred, PMP certification preferred
