OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The account executive is the key contributor who is responsible for growing sales within the Business Assurance Division.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Consult with customers on their certification and compliance needs to determine alignment with existing and developing service offerings
  • Maximize revenues with existing customers and build new customer relationships within the quality management, information security, sustainability, environmental, and occupational health & safety teams
  • Seek and build new industry partnerships with consultants and organizations to mutual support clients on the management system certification journey.
  • Create and build customer relationships within the Quality, Sustainability, and Cyber Security services areas
  • Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline including lead generation, qualification, quotation, follow up and closing activities to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Develop, manage and grow new and existing key accounts. 
  • Maintain an awareness of key industries, markets and their customers
  • Support marketing and organizational improvement activities
  • Contribute as an active sales team member on a regional, national and international level
  • Abide by strict compliance procedures and processes; maintain confidentiality of company products, services, internal information and customer information
  • Maintain a current sales and marketing awareness of Company's offerings by attending internal training sessions, webinars and staying current with industry trends
  • Keep up to date with technical and accreditation requirements that are applicable to our service offerings
  • Able to travel, estimated at 20% to 30%.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of management system standards, accreditation and industry related requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge around lead generation techniques both inbound and outbound.
  • Ability to form and build strong industry relationships with consulting partners
  • Strong business development skills, and clear history of building strong pipelines
  • Self-starter, actively seek out new information and stay on top of new customer trends an inquiries
  • Consistent track record of achieving established revenue targets
  • Communicate promptly, courteously and effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated, excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to grasp new concepts and technical information to execute support responsibilities.
  • Capable of presenting information to groups of people.
  • Sales driven personality who can plan, organize, and complete multiple projects while giving attention to detail and deadlines. 
  • Motivation, initiative, and commitment to self-improvement
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Skype Business

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of ten years business-to-business sales experience;
  • 5+ years selling Management System Certification (ISO) is a must;
  • Experience with selling to the C-Suite and quoting Global Multi Site Certifications is required
  • Cybersecurity services sales experience is a plus;
  • Knowledgeable in CRM is required;
  • Experience in professional services environment is helpful.
