RF Engineer

Working as part of a team of Wireless Test Technicians and Engineers, you will contribute to the provision of a Wireless testing service, specifically performing RF (Radio Frequency) testing on a large variety of IoT Wireless technologies, such as WLAN 802.11, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Cellular (GSM / W-CDMA / LTE / 5G NR), SRD 433/868MHz, VHF, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform RF testing and validation on a variety of wireless devices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and documentation for RF and EMC testing.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their testing requirements and provide technical support throughout the certification process.
- Maintain and calibrate RF testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
- Stay updated with the latest regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., FCC, CE, ETSI).
- Prepare detailed test reports and documentation for submission to regulatory bodies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in RF engineering, specifically in the wireless and EMC testing and certification industry.
- Strong knowledge of RF testing principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using RF testing equipment and software tools.
- Experience with EMC testing and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
